Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain stroller that is light, durable and offers great maneuverability. Its compact one-hand fold makes it's easy to transport and freestanding when folded. The padded seat reclines to a near-flat position and there's a giant storage bin and canopy. Baby suitability: Yes, with a separate carrycot (not suitable for overnight sleeping).
A good suspension and air-filled tires will help you navigate through rough terrain. You can also use it to jog. However, you should wait until your baby is at least 6 or 9 months old.
Ickle Bubba Air
This lightweight pushchair by Ickle Bubba is packed with lots of features that parents will appreciate. The travel system comes with a carrycot that is flat for newborns and a dual-position forward and rear facing seat for the pushchair.
The XL Air is a really impressive car and it's simple to see why it's been awarded so many praises from customers. It's extremely light-weight with the chassis and wheels weigh only 6.5kg. It is also very simple to put together. In fact I was able put it up and running in just five minutes, which is pretty amazing considering that it also included attaching the fabric for the carrycot!
It has a nice, wide seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months) and the recline lever is very simple to use. The basket has plenty of space and I am impressed that the handle bar has pockets to keep your keys and phone secure.
The only issue is that the handlebar is low, which can be a problem for taller parents. However, it's encased with a luxurious leather-like material that is soft and comfortable, and it wipes down easily, meaning it's still a breeze to push with bags and children on your hands!

Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is designed for athletic parents who can't wait to get outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels are able to be used on field and forest trails. The front wheel can be locked and swivels to increase the flexibility. It also comes with a cushioned 5-point safety harness and front bar to keep your little one safe on all trips, while the parking brake reliably prevents the stroller from moving while you are taking a break. The seat can be adjusted to lay flat and the canopy can be opened to allow maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30 cm to accommodate mum or dad's heights.
The Runner will accompany you on any adventure whether it's a short run, a more strenuous hike or a long distance trek. It has a fully-flat lay-flat seat with suspension air wheels that provide an easy ride. The front wheel can be locked to provide more stability on narrow streets or crowded sidewalks. The stroller can also fold in order to fit into car boot spaces or storage spaces.
Some parents have found the Runner 2 to be a little more difficult to maneuver than its predecessor, and the locking system is less user-friendly (requiring two buttons on either side of the push bar). The handlebars are a bit higher than some competitors, which means they may not be suitable for shorter parents. However the stroller is strong and adaptable and is a good option by active families.
Red Kite Push Me pacing
The Pace is another great offering from Red Kite, an affordable British brand that prides itself on making simple and well-designed essentials for parents. It's the latest - and priciest - addition to their bargain lightweight stroller range and like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo is car seat compatible which means you can use it right from birth (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace has some amazing design elements, like a rose gold tint to the chassis, hood and stroller trims that make it stand out from its rivals. The grey, tan and cream fabrics on the stroller and the car seat are fashionable and there's an option to add the leather handle for the cover and bumper bar too.
The stroller seat can be used from birth to 22kg. It converts easily to a two-in-one reversible position, which is either parent-facing or world-facing. The stroller seat has various lie-back positions, softly padded legs rests and an extendable sun canopy with hidden zip sections with a view-through flap, and retractable visor.
When folded when folded, the Pace measures 56 33cm x 43cm x 32cm which allows it to be used as hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. It's also easy to fold, thanks to two buttons on either side of the handlebar that you can click into and pop up.
Bugaboo Fox 5,
Created to be the ultimate all-terrain pushchair, Bugaboo's new Fox 5 promises to do it all. Its unique chassis comes with a shorter wheel width which makes it easier to maneuver than its predecessor. I put it to the test with my two kids - an infant and an eight-week old - across the rocky roads, grassy woodland walks and even cobblestones.
The large puncture-proof wheels - 22cm or 30cm in diameter they can be used on different terrains. The wheels come with flaps that can be shut or opened to let air in when required. It's slightly larger than most pushchairs, yet does not feel heavy or bulky when you push it over bumpy surfaces.
The fabric of the seat is machine washable and the faux leather grips and frame are easy to clean. via 's also quieter than other pushchairs and I felt at ease using it in busy urban streets. A bonus feature is that it comes with accessory points, which means you can put in footmuffs, parasols, changing bags, and even a snack tray. You can also use the hood to block rain and wind, but it isn't particularly waterproof. The single pram can be outfitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) that gives your child more legroom. It took around 20 minutes to set up the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to convert it to the seat.
UPPAbaby Ridge
Whether you're enjoying an early morning run under the stars or taking a moonlit stroll in the crisp air, the UPPAbaby Ridge transforms every moment into a shared experience. This all-terrain stroller was designed to keep you and the child active.
The large 12" and 16" foam-filled tires give you an effortless ride, no matter the terrain. The handbrake that is designed for performance allows you to quickly stop even while jogging down a downhill slope.
The Ridge is at its best in every city scene, from bustling market stalls for farmers to street musicians performing music. The spacious basket can hold everything you need and market purchases, while the large canopy offers sun and wind protection. The large front canopy unzips to reveal two mesh peekaboo windows that make it simple to monitor your little one's surroundings.
The Ridge's reversible seats lets you choose whether your child faces you, or the world in front. Its simple foot brake system makes it intuitive for parents who are new. The reversible handlebar is a great feature that lets you adjust it to suit your height. And unlike some jogging strollers The Ridge's fold is stable and stays upright when folded.
iCandy Core
iCandy’s new pushchair has many features that will really impress parents. It features a Multi-Mode wheelbase and a groundbreaking LED Hub Light that's a first for the industry. It also features an integrated Ride-on Board, which saves on future costs and makes it simple for a tired toddler to join your family on outings.
The Core is available as an entire travel system or as a single seat. It is compatible with the most popular car seats, such as those from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. It has the largest seat unit of the iCandy line, so you can use it to help your baby's start and beyond. It's a gorgeously constructed pushchair, and it is made of premium knitted fabric. The child's adjustable bumper bar as well as the handlebar that parents can adjust are made of soft leatherette. The calf support that folds away is also very comfortable for children.
I was awed by the ease of fold and collapse it only takes one hand, even with the seat unit attached. It is also easy to fit into your boot and hallway which makes it ideal for travelling. The iCandy Core includes a variety of accessories, including an iCandy Core-branded changing rucksack and liner/footmuff.
